Extra Spending Bill Passes Missouri Senate, Heads To Governor Parson’s Desk

(MISSOURINET) – The Missouri Legislature has passed an extra spending bill for the current state budget year. State Senate Appropriations Committee Chairman Lincoln Hough (Huff) talks about the plan, which would cost taxpayers an additional 600-million-dollars…

That pay increase is for all of Missouri’s roughly 55-thousand state workers, in additional to a two-dollar-per-hour bump in pay for group care employees working nights and weekends. The pay increase does not include statewide elected officials, legislative members, and judges. The bill heads to Governor Mike Parson’s office.
