Fighting Off Cyber-Attacks During Snowstorms

Every office within a state agency is a potential target for a cyber-attack, including the Missouri Department of Transportation.

Becky Allmeroth, chief safety and operations officer for Mo-DOT, says that includes any potential cyber-attacks during winter storms.

But Allmeroth says if necessary, they can operate “old school” if needed, and that a cyber-attack would not prevent snowplows from clearing highways during a snowstorm.
