Final days of Input on Highway 69 and 116 Roundabout

There are still a few days left to make your thoughts known on a proposed change to the intersection of Missouri Route 116 and U.S. Highway 69 east of Interstate 35 in Clinton County.

Mo-Dot says they are accepting public comments on a proposed roundabout at that intersection through Friday.

Mo-Dot says four fatality accidents have happened at the intersection since 2011. They say roundabouts reduce the number of impact points, eliminate the impact points that result in t-bone crashes, and force traffic to slow down while merging at gentler angles, all of which greatly reduce the possibility and severity of crashes.
