First Antlerless Deer Season Harvest Exceeds Expectations

Missouri completed their first Firearms Antlerless Deer Season prior to the regular firearms season on Sunday.

Missouri hunters were allowed to harvest an antlerless deer this past Friday through Sunday in most counties. Nodaway, Andrew, Atchison, and Holt Counties were all closed to the Early Antlerless Season.

There have been a little over 11,000 deer taken to this point in the Archery Deer Season.

The next firearms season will be the Youth Firearms Season which will be held October 28th and 29th.
