An Andrew County accident on Sunday night left five teenagers injured.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a vehicle driven by 18-year old Tomas R. Wade was southbound on Route D, three miles east of Savannah around 9:30 Sunday night when he failed to yield to a northbound vehicle driven by 18-year old Rachel K. Corey who was turning left.
Both vehicles traveled off the east side of the roadway and came to a rest.
Corey was seriously injured. Her 17-year old male passenger received moderate injuries.
Wade and a 13-year old male passenger in his vehicle also received moderate injuries. A 15-year old female in Wade’s vehicle was seriously injured.
All of the injured parties were taken to Mosaic in St. Joseph.
