Five Vehicle Crash on I-35 Injures Kearney Woman

A five-vehicle crash on I-35 injured a Kearney Woman Wednesday afternoon.

According to a report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 4:25 pm on Northbound I-35 north of the 25.36 mile marker.

The accident occurred as 31-year-old Brandon L. Duffy of Kearney was sitting in congestion due to a previous crash. His vehicle was struck by another vehicle driven by 75-year-old Kearney Resident Lora L. Casady. A sequence of events listed as unknown by the Patrol involved two other vehicles driven by 57-year-old James L. Glover and 26-year-old Marissa L. Meador, both of Kearney.

Lora Casady’s vehicle was also struck by a 5th vehicle in the rear which left the scene. The driver is not identified.

Marissa Meador suffered a minor injury for which she sought treatment on her own.
