Forest City Woman Seriously Injured in Holt County Crash Tuesday

A Forest City woman was injured in a Holt County crash Tuesday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Highway 111, just west of Oregon, when a vehicle driven by 78-year-old Maryann Margarit was heading eastbound.
Troopers say Margarit crossed over the center of the road, overcorrected, and overturned down an embankment.
Margarit suffered serious injuries and was taken to Mosaic Medical Center, in Saint Joseph, for treatment.
Troopers say she was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
