Forest City Woman Seriously Injured in Rollover Accident

BUCHANAN COUNTY, MO – A Forest City woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after she was ejected during an accident Sunday morning in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 27-year-old Savannah Fox was eastbound on US 36 Highway around, 7 miles east of St. Joseph around 9 a.m. when her vehicle traveled off the side of the roadway. Fox then overcorrected, sending the vehicle off the opposite side of the roadway where it overturned, ejecting her. The vehicle came to rest on its top.
Fox was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. She was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. Fox was cited for driving while intoxicated.
