Four Area Residents Injured in UTV Accident

CAMERON, MO – Four area residents were hospitalized following a UTV accident near Cameron Saturday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred as the Polaris General was on private property, six miles south of Cameron just before 8 o’clock. 32-year old Rochelle Howard of Cameron attempted to turn the vehicle on the grass when the UTV overturned.

Howard and 33-year old Lacy McCannon of Turney received minor injuries. 31-year old Crystal Hosman of Cameron and 34-year old Melony Steele of King City were seriously injured.

Howard was cited for felony driving while intoxicated and improper use of a utility vehicle in a careless and improper manner.
