Francis Street Ramp to I-229 to Close Next Week

The ramp from Francis Street to Interstate 229 in St. Joseph will close next week as part of the project to rehabilitate bridges along I-229.

Contractors from PCiRoads, LLC, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will close the Francis Street Ramp and narrow I-229 to one lane between Highland and St. Joseph Avenues on Monday, August 8; from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

During this closure, motorists will need to use an alternate route.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
