Free Flyfishing Clinic Coming to Plattsburg

A free flyfishing clinic is coming to the Plattsburg area.

The Missouri Department of Conservation will offer a free flyfishing clinic from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 16, at the Ronald and Maude Hartell Conservation Area near Plattsburg.

Participants will learn casting with a flyrod and also improve their flyfishing skills.

MDC will provide all equipment.

This class is open to participants ages eight and older.

Those ages 16 to 64 will need a valid Missouri fishing permit.
