Furbearer Hunting And Trapping Season Extension Sent For Public Review By MDC

The Missouri Conservation Commission approved proposed regulation changes for the Missouri Department of Conservation to extend furbearer hunting and trapping seasons at their December meeting. Josh Roller is with the Missouri Department of Conservation.

 

He says the department is exploring 4 options.

 

The department is seeking input from the public regarding the options. An online review of the regulation proposal is open for public comment between January 19th and Feburary 17th of 20222. Comments received during this period will be considered and final proposals will go to the Commission for further action at its March 25 meeting. If enacted, the changes will become effective June 30, 2022.
