President Donovan called the meeting to order at 6:00 a.m., with seven members present.

Dr. Collins, Principals Burke, Thogmartin, and Board Secretary Holcomb were in attendance. Staff
attending were Brittany Ghidoni, Courtney Ray, Abbey Wilson and Amy Holder. Guests were Debbie
Sweatman and Craig Deaver.
Dr. Collins requested to remove item B. Summer School Report from New Business as this was reported
at a prior meeting. Bird motioned, Dowell seconded to approve the agenda as amended. 7-0
Critten motioned, Bradford seconded to approve Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. for the
next meeting. 7-0
Critten motioned, Riley seconded to approve the September 14, 2022, open minutes. 7-0
Critten motioned, Bradford seconded to approve and pay the October 2022 bills. 7-0
Dr. Collins presented his report.
Principal Burke presented his report.
Dr. Collins presented Principal Wever’s report.
Principal Thogmartin presented her report.
Principal Burke presented Activities Director Sullenger’s report.
Dr. Collins presented the Vocational and Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA)
report for Kimberly Johnson.
Dr. Collins presented the District’s Annual Performance Review.
Craig Deaver, a representative of Safe Defend, LLC, gave a presentation on school safety.
Amy Holder gave a presentation on Gallatin Community Teacher’s Association.
The board took a short break.
At 7:31 p.m. Bradford motioned, Critten seconded to go into closed session for discussing personnel

The Board returned to open at 7:44 p.m.

Dowell motioned, Heldenbrand seconded to offer the Assistant Middle School Boys Basketball
Coaching position to Taylor Cornett. 6-0
Critten motioned, Dowell seconded to offer a cook position to Kim Ness. 6-0
Having no further business, at 7:45 p.m. the Board to adjourn on a motion by Critten, Heldenbrand
seconded. Bird, yea Bradford, yea, Critten, yea, Donovan, yea, Dowell, yea, Heldenbrand, yea, and
Riley, yea.
