A Gallatin man was arrested on a trio of driving charges Saturday in Daviess County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 27-year-old Jimmy J. Allen was arrested on preliminary charges of driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident, and operating a motor vehicle on a highway without a valid license.

Allen was taken to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail and booked on a 12-hour hold.
