Gallatin Resident Arrested on Sex Offender Violation

The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested a Gallatin man Monday morning in Daviess County.

According to the arrest report issued by the Highway Patrol, 67-year old Forrest P. Kelley was taken into custody just prior to noon on suspicion of failing to register as a sex offender. The Sex Offender Registry maintained by the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates Kelley was convicted of sodomy in Livingston County in 2000 for an offense from 1991.

Kelley was taken to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail pending the filing of formal charges.
