Gallatin Teen Killed, Two Injured in Accident Near Winston

WINSTON, MO – A Gallatin teen was killed overnight in a two-vehicle crash near Winston.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the crash occurred around 9 pm as both vehicles were northbound on US 69 at Route BB, one half mile west of Winston. Eighteen year old Jonathan Stoor of Gallatin failed to stop at a stop sign and began making a right turn onto US 69 where he was struck by a vehicle operated by a Green Castle resident. Both vehicles travelled off the north side of the roadway where Stoor’s vehicle overturned.
Stoor was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph where he was pronounced dead. A 14-year old male from Gallatin sustained serious injuries and a 17-year old male from Gallatin had moderate injuries.
