Galt Driver Injured in Friday Morning Accident

A Galt driver was injured following a one-vehicle accident west of Galt on Missouri Highway 6 Friday morning. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 18-year-old Danielle Whitcher of Galt was heading westbound in Missouri Highway 6 and was reportedly struck by another vehicle. Her vehicle went off the side of the roadway, returned to the roadway, crossed the center line, and begin to skid. The other driver reportedly left the scene westbound on Missouri Highway 6. Whitcher received minor injuries from the accident and was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton. The Galt Fire Department assisted the highway patrol. The accident took place just before 10pm on Friday morning.
