Gas Prices Hit 2 Cents from Highest Recorded Average

Average gas prices nationwide has reached $0.022 from the highest average ever recorded.  Gas prices in the Regional Radio listening area ranges in the $3.21 to $3.82 range as of Monday morning.

Nationwide, the average price per gallon for Regular Unleaded is $4.081 (Monday at 10:40 am CST).   Prices are up for an average of $3.61 last week; $3.45 from last month and $2.775 last year.

The highest recorded average was set on July 16, 2008 at $4.103 per gallon.
