GEC Community Foundations Awards Over $2,900 in Grants

GEC Foundation Grants
TRENTON, MO – GEC Community Foundation awarded over $2,900 in grants funded through Operation Round Up.
Education grants were awarded to Trenton Middle School to purchase books; Princeton Elementary School for musical instruments and method books; North Harrison School District for calculators; and Grundy County School District for library chairs.
GEC Community Foundation has awarded 768 grants totaling over $450,000 since 2005 to deserving schools and community organizations. Members can voluntarily round up their utility bill each month to fund grants through Operation Round Up.
The next grant application deadline is April 1st. Applications are available at grundyec.com.
