GEC Membership Approves Directors, By-Law Amendments
Grundy Electric Cooperative announced the directors receiving 3-year terms for the Cooperative following their special Drive-Thru Annual Membership Meeting on Thursday.
During the event, 245 members were registered. Those members had a chance to vote for three directors and two by-law amendments.
The 3 directors elected were all re-elected. Adrian Cox of rural Trenton was elected to Area 1. Dan Lentz of Browning was elected to Area 2. Alan Guernsey of Bethany was elected to represent Area 5.
Members also approved proposed amendments that include Proposition A. That measure is intended to provide more flexibility of when the annual meeting may be held. Members also approved Proposition B. That amendment brings consistency with Missouri Statues with respect to quorum requirements.
