The Gentry County Commission declared a state of emergency on Monday, enacting an order similar to that of Governor Parson. All gatherings of more 10 people are prohibited and all indoor and outdoor eating establishments will be closed, but may still offer carryout, drive thru and delivery as well as curb side pickup.

The Sheriff’s office is authorized to enforce this ordinance if they see an individual doing non-essential activities.

Individuals are allowed to be outside their home for essential activities, such as medical emergencies, grocery shopping and purchasing food for home.
