The Bear Creek Bridge on Gentry County Route YY is getting replaced starting next month.
The bridge closed in January due to structural deterioration and will be replaced by Gene Haile Excavating, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation.
Crews plan to begin working on the bridge on Monday, December 4.
During construction, the roadway will remain closed.
Motorists will need to seek an alternate route during the closures.
MoDOT plans to finish the project by the end of April.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
