Georgia Woman Suffers Serious Injuries In Sunday Semi Wreck

A Tractor-trailer accident in Atchison County Sunday left a Georgia woman with serious injuries.

Troop H of the Highway Patrol says 26-year-old Milledgeville, Georgia resident Tahj L. Beckham was driving a 2015 Freightliner Cascadia northbound on Interstate 29 at mile-marker 118 in Atchison County at 4:15 P.M. Sunday when the truck traveled off the east side of the roadway.

The truck returned to the roadway but then overturned onto its passenger side, coming to rest partially on the east shoulder of the northbound lanes of the interstate.

Beckham was wearing a seat belt and avoided injury. His passenger, 26-year-old Eatonton, Georgia resident Courtney D. Crawford, was not buckled up and suffered serious injury. She was reportedly transported to an area hospital by Holt Atchison Ambulance.
