Gilman City Man Charged With Statutory Rape

HARRISON COUNTY, MO – A warrant has been issued for a Gilman City man accused of statutory rape.

A statement issued by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office reports they received a non-caretaker report from the Division of Family Services alleging 26-year-old Jacen Robert Stotts was having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old female. The investigating officer reports that he met with the parties last Friday and gained information which led to the filing of a report with the Harrison County Prosecuting Attorney.

Stotts was formally charged today (Thursday) with statutory rape in the second degree. Bond has been set at $150,000 cash only.
