Gov. Parson Talks About Drought

(Missourinet) Drought is easing its grip on Missouri.

The latest U.S. Drought Monitor shows 72-percent of the state is dry compared to 91-percent last week. About 52-percent of the state remains in a drought and extreme drought continues in five-percent of Missouri.

When Missourinet asked Governor Mike Parson if the state should expect some water shortages, he said this is not Missouri’s first rodeo when it comes to drought.

About 27-percent of Missouri is not experiencing any drought conditions.
