Governor and Missouri FFA Raising Awareness of the Importance of Agriculture

(Missourinet) Missouri Governor Mike Parson is celebrating the nearly 26-thousand member of the Missouri FFA.

The governor traveled to the Capitol on a tractor Wednesday morning for a gathering of hundreds of FFA members and fellow-farmers.  He says the First Lady and he both came from farm families and the state’s future leaders are part of the young folks in the Missouri FFA.

Governor Mike Parson arrived at the Capitol on a tractor Wednesday morning, not to plow the grounds, but to speak to Missouri’s FFA members.
As a farmer himself, the governor said he’s inspired by the future workers and leaders in agriculture.
Missouri FFA Vice President Abby Miller says she has benefited from her experience in the organization.
