Grain Valley Man Injured in Early Morning Crash in Nodaway County

A Grain Valley man suffered injuries in a Nodaway County crash early this morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on U.S. 71, six miles south of Maryville, as a vehicle driven by 32-year-old Aaron L. Sartin drove southbound.
Troopers say Sartin came over a hill crest and struck another southbound vehicle driven by 56-year-old Maryville resident Lonnie B. Tompkins.
Sartin suffered moderate injuries and sought treatment at Mosaic in Saint Joseph.
Authorities listed no injuries for Tompkins.
Troopers say Sartin was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
