Grant City Driver Seriously Hurt In Highway 169 Accident

A Grant City man was seriously injured following an accident on Highway 169, south of Grant City, Friday evening.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 72 year old Lee Mincy was driving north on Highway 169, about 5 and 1/2 miles south of Grant City, went off the side of the roadway with his vehicle, and struck a field entrance. The vehicle went airborne and eventually overturned. The vehicle came to rest on its top. The driver was taken to Mosaic Life Care in Albany. The Worth County Sheriff’s Department, the Worth County Ambulance, and the Worth County Fire Department assisted the Highway Patrol.
The accident took place at 5:15 Friday evening.
