Hamilton Man Hurt in Chain Reaction Crash In Clay County
A Hamilton man was among three people left with injuries in a four-vehicle chain reaction crash in Clay County Thursday morning.
Troop A of the Highway Patrol says the crash happened at 6:20 A.M. Thursday on southbound I-35 at Highway 210 in Clay County when the four vehicles entered heavily congested traffic.
According to the Highway Patrol, a 2019 Chevy Silverado struck the rear end of a 2014 Ford F-150 being driven by 35-year-old Hamilton resident Devon M. Hamlin, pushing that truck into a 2017 Chevy Malibu, which then in turn hit a 2017 Chevy Silverado.
Everyone involved in the accident was reportedly wearing seat belts at the time. Hamlin however suffered moderate injuries and was taken by North KC Fire to North Kansas City Hospital for treatment.
Two occupants in the 2017 Silverado also suffered minor injuries and were also taken by North KC Fire to North Kansas City Hospital for treatment.
