Hamilton Polcec July 2023 Activities Report

Law Enforcement Officers make arrests based on facts of the crime. Any person suspected of a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.

On 07/01/2023, at 1:23 am, a 27-year-old female from Kansas City, MO was stopped at 36 Highway and 13 Highway and cited for no insurance and failing to register a motor vehicle.

On 07/02/2023, at 10:30 am, a 35-year-old male from Jamesport, MO was stopped at Davis & Berry and cited for no insurance and expired plates.

On 07/03/2023, at 7:35 am, a Hamilton resident reported a domestic altercation at a residence at the 400 block of E Berry, which resulted in the arrest of a 30-year-old female from Hamilton, MO. She remains in custody on a $10,000 cash only bond.

On 07/04/2023, at 4:33 pm, a 37-year-old female from Hamilton, MO was stopped at Bird & Ardinger and cited for no insurance.

On 07/05/2023, at 11:20 am, an officer responded to Supervision Services, for a report of an intoxicated subject in their office, which resulted in the arrest of a 53-year-old male from Plattsburg, MO for driving while intoxicated. The subject plead guilty to the charge on 07/20/2023 and was sentenced to 15 days in jail.

On 07/07/2023, at 5:00 pm, an officer responded to N. Davis and Bird Street, for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving 2 vehicles. It was reported a 69-year-old female from Kingston, MO was northbound on Davis Street and failed to yield while attempting to make a left turn onto Bird, striking a vehicle traveling southbound on Davis Street. That driver was issued a citation for failure to yield, resulting in an accident. The other vehicle was driven by a 21-year-old male from Hamilton, MO. He was also issued citations for driving without a license and no insurance.

On 07/09/2023, at 2:10 pm, a 52-year-old male from Henrieville, Utah was stopped at Davis & Berry and cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.

On 07/12/2023, at 11:30 pm, an officer took a report of a possible stolen iPad from a parked motor vehicle at the 200 block of N California. The iPad was later located in Hamilton and returned to the owner.

On 07/12/2023, at 9:15 am, an officer responded to Supervision Services, for a report of an intoxicated subject. The subject, a 34-year-old male from Cameron, MO fled the scene. A report was forwarded to the Caldwell County prosecutor and a warrant was issued for his arrest. The subject was later arrested and remains in custody on a $5,000 cash only bond, for driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest by fleeing.

On 07/12/2023, at 10:00 pm, a 30-year-male from Richmond, MO was stopped at Berry & Davis and cited for failure to register a motor vehicle.

On 07/14/2023, at 2:35 pm, a 23-year-old male from Breckenridge, MO was stopped at 36 Highway and 13 Highway and cited for failing to stop at a stop sign and expired plates.

On 07/15/2023, at 12:00 pm, an officer responded to a domestic dispute at the 500 block of W Samuel Street. The dispute was verbal, and the parties involved separated.

On 07/18/2023, at 2:30 pm, a 28-year-old female from Braymer, MO was arrested at Supervision Services on a Caldwell County probation violation, on the original charge of assault on a special victim. The female violated bond conditions by refusing to submit to a drug test.

On 07/19/2023, at 11:00 pm, a 71-year-old male from Belton, MO was stopped at Hughes and Cross

On 07/20/2023, at 2:00 pm, a 22-year-old female from Gallatin, MO was stopped at Davis & Berry and cited for no insurance and expired registration.

On 07/20/2023, at 8:05 pm, an officer took a report of an assault that occurred at the Hamilton swimming pool. A report was forwarded to the Caldwell County Juvenile Officer.

On 07/21/2023, at 2:28 pm, a juvenile was observed driving at the 100 block of Cross Street. The officer knew the juvenile did not have a drivers license, which was confirmed by dispatch. The juvenile

was released to a family member and a report was forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office and Juvenile Office.

On 07/24/2023, at 2:15 pm, a 34-year-old male from Laredo, MO was stopped at Berry & Sharp and cited for no insurance.

On 07/25/2023, at 5:00 pm, a 43-year-old female from Kansas City, MO was arrested at Supervision Services on a Caldwell County warrant for failure to obey judge’s orders on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance.

On 07/26/2023, at 5:30 pm, a 44-year-old male from St. Joseph, MO was stopped at 36 Highway & 13 Highway and cited for speed (22 over).

On 07/26/2023, at 9:55 pm, a 39-year-old male from New Boston, MO was stopped at 36 Highway & 13 Highway and cited for speed (20 over).

On 07/26/2023, at 11:05 pm, a 23-year-old male from Chicago, MO was stopped at 36 Highway & 13 Highway and cited for speed (22 over).

On 07/27/2023, at 3:40 pm, a 27-year-old male from Bethany, MO was stopped at Berry & Sharp and cited for failing to register a motor vehicle.

On 07/28/2023, at 10:20 am, an officer responded to a business at the 800 block of S Colby Street, for a report of a burglary. It was reported that sometime during the previous night, tools were stolen from a secured maintenance closet. The investigation is ongoing.

On 07/28/2023, at 2:08 pm, a 21-year-old male from Edina, MO was stopped at Highway 36 and Highway 13 and cited for speed (22 over).

On 07/28/2023, at 4:29 pm, a 39-year-old male from Belton, MO was stopped at 36 Highway and 13 Highway and cited for speed (26 over).

On 07/28/2023, at 9:32 pm, a 27-year-old male from Indianapolis, IN was stopped at 36 Highway & 13 Highway and cited for speed (25 over).
