Hamilton Police Department December 2021 Activity Report

Law Enforcement Officers make arrests based on facts of the crime. Any person suspected of a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty a court of law.

During the month of December 2021, Officers responded to approximately 331 calls for service, arrested 15 subjects on active warrants, arrested 6 subjects from completed criminal investigations, and issued 69 citations for various criminal and traffic offenses.

On 12/02/2021, at 8:40 am, a 55 year old male from Cameron, MO was arrested at Supervision Services on a Dekalb County bond violation warrant, on the original charge of DWI – Habitual. The male violated bond conditions by testing positive for alcohol.

On 12/02/2021, at 4:53 pm, a 20 year male from Pattonsburg, MO was arrested at Supervision Services on two active Daviess County warrants.

On 12/05/2021, at 10:45 am, an officer responded to the 100 block of W School Street in reference to a dog at large. The owner of the dog was located and cited for allowing their dog to run at large.

On 12/06/2021, at 12:29 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of South Hughes for a vehicle that was speeding, which resulted in the arrest of a 32 year old female from Trenton, MO for possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. The female was cited and released from custody, pending a mandatory court appearance.

On 12/06/2021, at 8:40 am, an officer responded to a residence at the 300 block of N Frame Street, for a report of an order of protection violation. The suspect, a 33 year old male from Hamilton MO was already in custody for a bond violation on a domestic assault charge. A report was forwarded to the prosecutor and new charges on the order of protection violation were filed and the suspect remains in custody.

On 12/06/2021 at 1140 am, a 26 year old female from Independence, MO was arrested at Supervision Services on a Clinton County, MO probation violation warrant and a Clinton County, MO bond violation warrant. The original charge for both warrants was delivery of a controlled substance. The female violated the conditions of probation and bond, by testing positive for cocaine.

On 12/12/2021, at 8:25 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop on N Davis at Rich Hill and a 45 year old male from Trenton, MO was issued a citation for an expired driver’s license.

On 12/13/2021, at 4:00 pm, an officer took a report of an order of protection violation from a resident in the 400 block of N Gallatin. It was reported that while the suspect was incarcerated, he violated the court order by contacting the Hamilton resident.

On 12/14/2021, at 10:05 am, a 57 year old male from Kirksville, MO was arrested at Supervision Services on a Livingston County bond violation warrant, on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance. The subject violated bond conditions by failing to appear for a court appearance.

On 12/14/2021, at 11:40 am, a 24 year old male from Chillicothe, MO was arrested at Supervision Services on a Livingston County bond violation warrant, on the original charge of 2nd Degree Burglary.

On 12/14/2021, at 1:14 pm, a 51 year old male from Sedalia, MO was arrested at Supervision Services on a Livingston County bond violation warrant, on the original charge of financial explication of an elderly or disabled person and tampering or attempting to tamper with a victim.

On 12/15/2021, at 10:12 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of E Bird & N Burruss, which resulted in the arrest of a 29 year old female for driving without a license. The female was cited and released from custody, pending a mandatory court appearance.

On 12/15/2021, at 5:54 pm, an officer responded to a business at the 1000 block of S Hughes, for a report of property damage. High winds caused a portion of the siding to come off a business and cause damage to a car. The owner of the property was contacted and made aware of the damages.

On 12/17/2021, at 2:00 pm, a Hamilton resident reported their golf cart stolen from the Gulf Course. The golf cart was recovered in a field near the golf course. The investigation is ongoing.

On 12/21/2021, at 1:40 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of E Arthur and N Davis, which resulted in the arrest of a 48 year old male passenger from Kansas City, MO on a City of Hamilton warrant.

On 12/24/2021, at 4:11 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop at the 600 block of E Berry St, which resulted in the arrest of a 46 year old female from Ludlow, MO for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The female was cited and released from custody, pending a mandatory court appearance.

On 12/27/2021, at 12:45 am, a 20 year old male from Kingston, Missouri was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The individual was subsequently released with 2 citations, both with mandatory court dates.

On 12/28/2021, at 1:40 pm, a 38 year old male from Chillicothe, MO was arrested at Supervision Services on a Caldwell County bond violation, on the original charges of delivery or possession of a controlled substance at a jail, possession of marijuana, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. The subject violated bond conditions by removing his drug patch.

On 12/28/2021, at 1:50 pm, an officer responded to the Hamilton Bank, in reference to a report of a recovered counterfeit bill.

On 12/28/2021, at 3:45 pm, a 43 year old female from Polo, Missouri was arrested at Supervision Services on Caldwell County bond violation warrant, on the original charges of delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and endangering the welfare of a child.

On 12/28/2021, at 4:30 pm, a 34 year old female from St. Joseph, MO was arrested at Supervision Services on a Livingston County bond violation warrant, on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance.

On 12/28/2021, at 5:20 pm, a 35 year old male from Cainsville, MO was arrested at Supervision Services on a Livingston County bond violation warrant, on the original charges of burglary, stealing, and tampering with physical evidence.
