Hamilton Police Department Releases April Activity Log
Press Release: April 2021
Law Enforcement Officers make arrests based on facts of the crime. Any person suspected of a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
During the month of April, Officers responded to approximately 297 calls for service, arrested 6 subjects on active warrants, arrested 7 subjects from completed criminal investigations, conducted 75 traffic stops, and issued 35 citations for various criminal and traffic offenses.
On 04/01 at 4:00 pm, an officer followed up with a report of a fight at the Hamilton High School. Two students were interviewed and one was issued citation for assault. A report was forwarded to the Caldwell County Juvenile Officer.
On 04/02 at 6:22 pm, an officer took a report of property damage, which is believed to have occurred at the 400 block of E Berry Street.
On 04/04 at 2:59 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop at 8th Street and N Davis, which resulted in the arrest of a 60 year old male from Hamilton, MO for driving without a license and driving while intoxicated.
On 04/04 at 7:07 pm, and officer responded to the 200 block of E Bird for a report of a dog bite. The owner of the dog was located and issued a citation for allowing their dog to run at large.
On 04/05 at 10:30 am, officers responded to the 200 block of N. Davis Street in reference to a single vehicle crash. The driver, a 68 year old male from Hamilton was transported for medical attention.
On 04/06 at 8:08 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop at E Berry & N Davis, which resulted in the arrest of an 18 year old male from Hamilton for driving without a license. The male subject was cited for expired license,
expired insurance, and no seatbelt and released from custody.
On 04/09 at 1:55 pm, an officer responded to a report of 2 dogs running at large at the 500 block of E 7th Street. The owner was located and issued a citation.
On 04/13/2021 at 5:15 pm, an officer responded to the 500 block of E Arthur for a report of a dog running at large. The owner was located and issued a citation.
On 04/13 at 10:37 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop on Highway 13 at Highway 36, which resulted in the arrest of a 67 year old male from Cameron for driving without a license. The male subject was cited and released from custody.
On 04/15 at 2:15 pm, 29 year old female from Cameron, MO was arrested at Supervision Services on a Dekalb County bond violation warrant, for testing positive for methamphetamine. The original charge for the warrant is possession of a controlled substance.
On 04/17 at 11:36 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop at the 200 block of N Davis Street, which resulted in the arrest of a 22 year old female from Gallatin, MO on a Dekalb County failure to appear warrant. The original charge for the warrant is driving without a license.
On 04/19 at 4:35 pm, a 50 year old male was arrested at Supervision Services on an active Livingston County warrant for failure to obey judge’s orders, on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance.
On 04/19 at 5:44 pm, a 32 year old female from Kansas City, MO was arrested at Supervision Services on a Daviess County bond violation warrant, on the original charge of stealing a motor vehicle. The female violated bond conditions by testing positive for a controlled substance.
On 04/20 at 4:30 pm, a 50 year old male from Braymer, MO was arrested at Supervision Services on a Caldwell County bond violation warrant for testing positive for alcohol. The original charges for the warrant are neglect of a child and domestic assault.
On 04/20 at 10:00 pm, an officer took a report of a child sexual assault. Through the course of the investigation, it was discovered the incident occurred in King City, MO. A report was completed and forwarded to the King City Police Department for follow-up.
On 04/22 at 2:00 pm, officers took a report of a fight at the Hamilton High School. A report was forwarded to the Caldwell County Juvenile Officer.
On 04/25 at 8:51 am, a 34 year old female from Chillicothe, MO was arrested at the 700 block of S Hughes for driving while intoxicated (drugs) and held at the Caldwell County Detention Center.
On 04/27 at 1:10 pm, a 28 year old female from Braymer, MO was arrested at Supervision Services on a Caldwell County bond violation warrant for testing positive for alcohol. The original charges for the warrant are numerous counts of possession of controlled substance.
On 04/27 at 4:08 pm, a 31 year old male from Saint Joseph was arrested at the 100 block of W School for no driver’s license and was released with a citation for no license, no insurance, and expired plates.

04/01 at 10:15 am, a 55 year old female from Albany, MO stopped at S Davis & Chestnut and cited for no insurance
04/03 at 5:57 pm, a 29 year old male from Hamilton, MO stopped at McCaughy & Ewing and cited for failing to register a motor vehicle
04/03 at 2:23 pm, a 42 year old male from Hamilton, MO stopped at the 700 block of S Hughes and cited for expired plates (October 2020)
04/04 at 6:39 pm, a 39 year old female from Kansas City, MO stopped at 13 Highway & 36 Highway and cited for failing to register a motor vehicle
04/05 at 6:25 pm, a 38 year old from Kingston, MO stopped at Berry & Willis and cited for expired plates
04/06 at 7:55 am, an 18 year old from Hamilton, MO stopped at Berry & Davis and cited for an expired drivers license
04/09 at 10:50 pm, a 22 year old female from Hamilton, MO stopped at Hughes & Davis and cited for no insurance
04/09 at 8:29 pm, a 37 year old female from Independence, MO stopped at Davis & Hughes and cited for failing to register a motor vehicle
04/11 at 7:30 pm, a 19 year old from Hamilton, MO stopped at 13 Highway & 36 Highway and cited for failing to register a motor vehicle

04/23 at 7:30 am, a 19 year old male from Gallatin, MO stopped at the 1000 block of S Hughes and cited for failing stop for a stop arm on a school bus while loading
04/23 at 1:40 pm, a 67 year old from Gallatin, MO stopped at Berry & Gallatin and cited for speeding (21 over)
04/23 at 3:10pm, a 17 year old from Kidder, MO stopped at 8th & Ardinger and cited for failing to stop at a stop sign and no insurance
