Hamilton Police June 2021 Activity Log

Law Enforcement Officers make arrests based on facts of the crime. Any person suspected of a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty a court of law.

During the month of June 2021, Officers responded to approximately 388 calls for service, arrested 4 subjects on active warrants, arrested 11 subjects from completed criminal investigations, conducted 72 traffic stops, and issued 38 citations for various criminal and traffic offenses.

On 06/02/2021, at 7:30 am, an officer responded to the area of Walnut and Colby for a report of a dog running at large. The owner was located and issued citations for allowing the dog to run at large and no animal license.

On 06/03/2021, at 11:30 am, a Hamilton resident was issued a citation for failing to comply with a nuisance violation.

On 06/03/2021, at 11:30 am, a Gallatin resident was issued a citation for failing to comply with a nuisance violation.

On 06/03/2021, at 11:30 am, a Kingston resident was issued a citation for failing to comply with a nuisance violation.

On 06/03/2021, at 5:45 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of E Berry & S Colby, which resulted in the arrest of a 40 year old male from Richmond, MO for driving without a license.

On 06/06/2021, at 1:41 am, officers responded to a residence at the 900 block of W Berry for a report of an underage drinking party. The resident, a 25 year male subject, was arrested for hosting an open house party with underage drinking. He was cited and released from custody, pending a mandatory court appearance. A report was also forwarded to the Juvenile Office for the minors involved.

On 06/08/2021, at approximately 1415 hours, officers responded to 209 E. 8th Street in Hamilton, Caldwell County, Missouri, in reference to a possible domestic disturbance. As a result, both parties separated for the evening. No arrests were made due to conflicting stories and no evidence of a physical altercation.

On 06/08/2021, at 4:45 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop on Highway 13 at Highway 36, which resulted in the arrest of a 31 year old female from Overland Park, KS for driving without a license.

On 06/10/2021, at 8:26 am, an officer took a report of a motor vehicle crash that occurred at the 100 block of N Davis Street. A 57 year old female from Hamilton was cited for leaving the scene and no insurance.

On 6/11/2021, at 5:25, an officer responded to a residence at the 600 block of E Cross Street for a report of an order of protection violation. The suspect left the scene before the officer arrived. A report was sent to the prosecuting attorney and a warrant was issued for the suspect’s arrest.

On 06/12/2021, at 3:15 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop at the 1000 block of N. Davis Street, which resulted in the arrest of a 43 year old female from Cainsville, MO for driving without a license. The subject was cited for no license, no seatbelt, and speeding and released from custody.

On 06/14/2021, at 11:09 am, an officer took a report of sexual exploitation of a child, which involved all juveniles. A report was forwarded to the Caldwell County Juvenile Officer.

On 06/15/2021, at 2:00 pm, an officer responded to the Gulf Gas Station for a report of theft. It was reported a customer left their purse in the restroom and when they went to retrieve it, the purse was in the trash can and its

contents were missing. The investigation is ongoing.

On 06/15/2021, at 3:45 pm, a 27 year old male from Cowgill, MO was arrested at Supervision Services on an outstanding Caldwell County probation violation warrant for testing positive for a controlled substance. The original charge for the warrant was domestic assault.

On 06/15/2021, at 4:40 pm, a 32 year old male from Chillicothe, MO was arrested at Supervision Services on a Caldwell County probation violation, on the original charge of Non-Support. The male subject violated bond conditions by testing positive for a controlled substance.

On 06/15/2021, at 5:52 pm, a 19 year male from Wichita, KS was arrested at Supervision Services on a Caldwell County bond violation warrant, on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance, careless an imprudent driving involving an accident, leaving the scene of an accident, speeding, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. The subject violated bond conditions by testing positive for a controlled substance.

On 06/17/2021, at 11:20 am, a 49 year old female from Cameron, MO was arrested at Supervision Services on a Dekalb County bond violation warrant, on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance. The female violated bond conditions by testing positive for methamphetamine.

On 06/22/2021, at 11:40 am, an officer responded to a report of a dog running at large and destroying bags of trash at the 300 block of E Walnut Street. The caregiver for the dog was located and issued a citation for allowing the dog to run at large.

On 06/24/2021, at 1:53 pm, a Hamilton resident reported their 21 year old daughter missing from their residence at the 1000 block of N Davis. Street. The female was later located unharmed in Macon, MO.

On 6/25/2021, at 7:36 pm, an officer responded to the 900 block of N. Davis, for a report of a motor vehicle crash.

On 06/28/2021, at 2:09 pm, an officer responded to the Old Glove Factory at 105 N Frame Street, for a report of juvenile’s trespassing inside the building. Four juvenile boys were located and a report was forwarded to the Juvenile Office.

On 06/30/2021, at 10:00 am, an officer responded to a residence at the 200 block of N Burruss Street, for a report of a trespasser. It was reported a female unlawful entered the residence and appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance. The female, a 37 year old from Hamilton, MO was identified and located. The female claims when she knocked on the resident’s door, she was invited in. The female met with her parole officer at the PD and had an on sight urine drug test, which showed she was positive for methamphetamine.

06/04 at 2:54 pm, a 28 year old from Bethany, MO was stopped at N. Davis & Putnam and cited for Speeding (13 over)

06/06 at 6:53 pm, a 44 year old female from Salt Lake City, UT was stopped at N. Davis & Putnam and cited for Speeding (10 over)

06/06 at 7:34 pm, a 17 year old female from Bethany, MO was stopped at N. Davis & Putnam and cited for Speeding (10 over)

06/07 at 1:34 pm, a 23 year old female from Warsaw, MO was stopped at the 1000 block of S Hughes and cited for Speeding (10 over)

06/07 at 12:20 pm, a 27 year old female from Orrick, MO was stopped at N. Davis & Rich Hill and cited for Speeding (14 over)

06/07 at 9:30 am, a 43 year old male from Easton, MO was stopped at N. Davis & Rich Hill and cited for Speeding (16 over) and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway

06/07 – at 7:24 am, a 19 year old female from Hamilton, MO was stopped at the 1000 block of S Hughes and cited for Speeding (15 over)

06/12 at 6:51 pm, a 61 year old male from Chillicothe, MO was stopped at N. Davis & Putnam and cited for Speeding (15 over)

06/12 at 6:32 pm, a 34 year old male from Bethany, MO was stopped at N. Davis & Putnam and cited for Speeding (10 over)

06/12 at 3:15 pm, a 43 year old female from Cainsville, MO was stopped at the 1000 block of N Davis and cited for Speeding (15 over)

06/12 at 11:10 am, a 54 year old male from Normal, IL was stopped at the 1000 block of S Hughes and cited for Speeding (20 over)

06/13 at 10:35 am, an 18 year old female from Cameron, MO was stopped at the 1000 block of S Hughes and cited for Speeding (17 over)

06/14 at 3:35 pm, a 48 year old female from Chillicothe, MO was stopped at the 1000 block of S Hughes and cited for Speeding (10 over)

06/16 at 10:17 am, a 66 year old male from Hamilton, MO was stopped at N. Davis & Rich Hill and cited for Speeding (11 over)

06/16 at 4:25 pm, a 61 year old female from Bedford, IA was stopped at the 1000 block of S Hughes and cited for Speeding (17 over)

06/18 at 4:45 pm, a 22 year old male from St. Joseph, MO was stopped at the 1000 block of S Hughes and cited for Speeding (14 over)

06/18 at 3:25 pm, a 33 year old female from Hamilton, MO was stopped at N. Willis & McGaughy and cited for Speeding (10 over)

06/18 at 2:55 pm, a 17 year old female from Chillicothe, MO was stopped at the 1000 block of S Hughes and cited for Speeding (15 over)

06/18 at 7:05 am, a 45 year old male from Independence, MO was stopped at the 1000 block of S Hughes and cited for Speeding (15 over)

06/21 at 5:35 pm, a 16 year old from Hamilton, MO was stopped at the 1000 block of S Hughes and cited for Speeding (16 over)

06/25 at 1:22 pm, a 26 year old female from Kansas City, MO was stopped at Davis & Chestnut and issued a citation for failing to register a motor vehicle
