Hamilton Police May Activity Report

Law Enforcement Officers make arrests based on facts of the crime. Any person suspected of a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
During the month of May 2021, Officers responded to approximately 342 calls for service, arrested 10 subjects on active warrants, arrested 7 subjects from completed criminal investigations, conducted 35 traffic stops, and issued 19 citations for various criminal and traffic offenses.
On 05/01/2021 at 10:50 am, an officer responded to East McGaughy and North Prairie in reference to a two vehicle motor vehicle crash. Both vehicles sustained minor damages and no injuries were reported.
On 05/01/2021 an officer took a report of sexual misconduct involving a child. The incident was investigated and forwarded to the Caldwell County Juvenile Officer.
On 05/03/2021 at 12:35 pm, an officer arrested a 17 year old male from Chillicothe, MO at Supervision Services, on a Caldwell County probation violation warrant, for testing positive for methamphetamine and marijuana. The original charge for the warrant is driving while intoxicated and endangering the welfare of a child.
On 05/04/2021 at 4:22 pm, a 39 year old female from Gallatin, MO was arrested at Supervision Services on a Daviess County bond violation warrant, on the original charge of abuse of a child. The female violated bond by testing positive for marijuana.
On 05/06/2021 at 2:15 pm, a 24 year old male from Moberly, MO was arrested at Supervision Services on a City of Chillicothe failure to appear warrant, on the original charge of driving while intoxicated. The male subject was also cited for driving without a license.
On 05/03/2021 at 10:00 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop on S. Davis and Berry, which resulted in the arrest of a 39 year old male form Ring Gold, GA for driving without a license.
On 05/10/2021 at 10:18 am, a 37 year old female from Richmond, MO was arrested at Supervision Services on a Clinton County bond violation, on the original charge of attempted burglary.
On 05/08/2021 at 7:28 pm, an officer responded to a well-being check at a residence at the 700 block of S Hughes Street.
On 05/09/2021 at 3:15 pm, an officer responded to the Gulf Gas Station for a report of a single vehicle crash.
On 05/10/2021 at 7:53 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Davis and School Street, which resulted in the arrest of a 24 year old female from Lexington, MO for failure to appear on a City of Hamilton warrant, on the original charge allowing a dog to run at large.
On 05/11/2021 at 11:00 am, an officer followed up with nuisance violations. Five Hamilton residents were issued citations for failing to comply with the violations.
On 05/11/2021 at 8:50 pm, an officer arrested a 23 year old male subject from Hamilton at Dollar General on a failure to appear Caldwell County warrant, on the original charge of no seat belt.
On 05/13/2021 at 7:40 pm, a 20 year male from Cameron, MO turned himself in at the Hamilton Police Department on a failure to appear City of Hamilton warrant, on the original charge of failing to register a vehicle.
On 05/16/2021 at 9:24 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Davis and Berry, which resulted in the arrest of a 23 year old male from Kansas City, MO on a City of Hamilton failure to pay or appear warrant, on the original charge of expired plates. The subject posted bond and was released from custody.
On 05/17/2021 at 1:26 pm, officers responded to a 911 call of a vehicle that was reported stolen from the Gulf Gas Stations parking lot. The vehicle was located in Cameron, MO and a 33 year old female from Kansas City, MO was arrested for theft of a motor vehicle and assault.
On 05/17/2021 at 2:22 pm, an officer responded to a business at the 700 block of S Hughes Street for a report of a purse stolen from a vehicle.
On 05/18/2021 at 10:17 am, an officer responded to a 911 call of a male subject threatening family members with a knife at a residence at the 1000 block of N Davis. As a result of the investigation, a 30 year old male from Hamilton, MO was arrested for domestic assault, unlawful possession of weapon, and property damage.
On 05/18/2021 at 9:20, an officer conducted a traffic stop near S. Hughes & Cross for a lane violation, which resulted in the arrest of a 57 year old male from Hamilton, MO for an active Linn County, MO warrant for failure to pay or appear on the original charge of no seat belt.
On 05/21/2021 at 3:38 pm, an officer responded to a residence at the 600 block of W McGaughy in regards to a runaway juvenile.
On 05/21/2021 at 2:03 pm, an officer arrested a 22 year old male from Hamilton, MO at the 600 block of N Davis Street on a Caldwell County warrant. The warrant was for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash, tampering with evidence, and concealing a felony.
On 05/23/2021 at 11:01 pm, officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence at the 300 block of S Ardinger Street. The dispute was verbal and no arrests were made.
On 05/26/2021 at 9:39 pm, an officer responded to a residence at the 300 block of N Davis Street for a report of a domestic disturbance, between 2 intoxicated subjects. The dispute was verbal and no arrests were made.
On 05/26/2021 at 11:06 pm, an officer responded to a residence at the 400 block of E 6th Street, for a well-being check on a 5 year old child. The child was not located and it was reported the child and mother moved. This incident was reported to Children’s Division.
On 05/28/2021 an officer took a report of harassment, stalking, and theft from a business at the 700 block of S Hughes Street. A report was forwarded the Caldwell County Prosecutors Officer, for consideration in filing charges on a 29 year old male suspect from Breckenridge, MO.
On 05/28/2021 at 10:46 am, an officer responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence at the 200 block of E 8th Street, which resulted in the arrest of a 25 year old male from Hamilton, MO for 3rd degree domestic assault.
On 05/28/2021 at 2:28 pm, an officer took a report of misuse of 911. It was reported an intoxicated male repeatedly called 911 for no purpose. A report will be forwarded to the prosecutor for consideration in filing formal charges.
On 05/28/2021 at 4:45 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop near Samuel & Ritchie, which resulted in the arrest of a 23 year old male from Hamilton, MO for driving without a license and possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana.
On 05/29/2021 at 11:21 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection Irwin and Colby, which resulted in the arrest of a 25 year old male from Hamilton, MO for driving without a license.

05/04 at 7:08 pm, a 27 year old female from Rushville, MO stopped at the 1000 block of S Hughes and cited for failing to register a motor vehicle
05/05 at 3:10 pm, a 33 year old female from Hamilton, MO stopped at Ardinger & 8th and cited for failing to stop at a stop sign
05/09 at 7:59 pm, a 71 year old male from Gallatin, MO stopped at Davis & ER Penny and cited for expired plates and no insurance
05/10 at 11:01 am, a 21 year old from Braymer, MO stopped at Ardinger and Park and cited for failing to register a motor vehicle
05/10 at 5:10 pm, a 30 year old male from Cameron, MO stopped at Davis & Samuel and cited for excessive window tint
05/11 at 10:36 pm, a 19 year old from Cameron, MO stopped at Burruss & Bird and cited for failing to stop at a stop sign
05/11 at 10:38 am, a 22 year old male from Hamilton, MO stopped at Gallatin & Samuel and cited for failure to display a UTV flag
05/29 at 11:21 am, a 25 year old male from Hamilton, MO stopped at Irwin & Colby and cited for defective equipment
05/28 at 7:50 am, a 32 year old female from Cameron, MO stopped at Ardinger & Arthur and cited for failing to register a motor vehicle
05/30 at 12:08 pm, a 45 year old male from Cameron, MO stopped at Berry & Willis and cited for Speeding
