Hamilton School CARE Bond Passes

The Hamilton School District is celebrating the passage of their C.A.R.E. proposition in Tuesday’s elections.

The Community Action Reinvesting in Education, or Proposition C.A.R.E., is a no tax increase bond that will facilitate the building of a new high school building and the addition of an all-weather track.

The project will demolish the old high school which extends south of the old gym and put a new addition at that location. The track location is yet to be determined.

According to the unofficial results released from Caldwell County clerk Christine Owen the C.A.R.E. proposition passed with more than 78-percent approval (421-115).
