Harrison County Bridge to Close for Replacement

HARRISON COUNTY, MO – Another northern Missouri bridge is scheduled to be replaced under the FARM Bridge Program. The Harrison County Route D bridge over Ames Creek, located between U.S. Route 136 and Route F, west of Bethany, is scheduled to close Monday, June 26th, for construction. The bridge is expected to remain closed through early October.

The FARM Bridge Program stands for Fixing Access to Rural Missouri.

There is no posted detour on most of these projects. The Branch Bridge was built in 1933 and has a traffic volume of approximately 50 vehicles per day.
