Hartzler: Putin “A Thug” Needs to Feel Economic Pain if Russia Invades Ukraine

(MISSOURINET) – Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler is the senior Republican on the House Armed Services Committee and represents Fort Leonard Wood and Whiteman Air Force Base. She says as of Tuesday she does not think that any service members from these bases have been deployed to the Ukraine. She says the U-S must stand by Ukraine.

Hartzler, speaking to press in Jefferson City Tuesday, called Russian President Vladimir Putin “a thug.”

She says the U-S withdrawal in Afghanistan emboldened Russia.
