Hawley On Why He Voted Against Ethics Rules For US Supreme Court Justices

Missouri U-S Senator Josh Hawley is defending his “no” vote on a bill that would establish a code of ethics for U-S Supreme Court justices.

He told Missourinet the overall push for ethics reform by Senate Democrats is not really about ethics.

That’s actually a separate bill Hawley was referring to that hasn’t yet been voted on in committee. As for his “no” vote on the code of conduct bill, he says codes of conduct should be created for members of Congress, not just supreme court justices.
