(MISSOURINET) – Missouri U-S Senator Josh Hawley is sponsoring a bill that would revoke China’s “normal” trade relations status. He calls the decision more than two decades ago to grant China that status was one of the “stupidest” things U-S policymakers have ever done:
In addition to revoking China’s normal trade status, the bill would subject imports from China to higher tariffs.
