A stack of hay bales in Kearney has been made into a tribute to Chiefs Quarterback, Patrick Mahomes.
Russell Frick painted Mahomes on an 18-foot high stack of 15 hay bales off of Highway 92 in Kearney.
Frick has painted on hay bales every year for 10 years with pumpkins, tractors, and other fall-related images.
This year, his granddaughter suggested either Andy Reid or Patrick Mahomes. Frick got to work on Mahomes using a projector to trace onto the hay bales, finishing it on Wednesday this week. The image of the finished project has gone viral.
