Helena Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant in Buchanan County

A Helena man was arrested Tuesday in Buchanan County with an outstanding warrant.
At 1:35 P.M. the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested 50-year-old Chad M. Shanks with an outstanding misdemeanor warrant in St. Joseph for a registration violation. He is also facing charges for felony possession of a controlled substance for methamphetamine and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
Shanks was booked into the Buchanan County Law Enforcement Center on a 24 hour hold.
