Highway Patrol Announces ID of Human Remains Found In Daviess County

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has announced the identity of human remains discovered in rural Daviess County in April.

Troop H of the Missouri State Highway Patrol says those remains have been identified as 28-year-old Skyler C. Ware. Ware is described as a black male from Kansas City, Missouri. The cause of death has been ruled as homicide.

Ware was reported as a missing person in Jackson County in May 2020.

On April 21st, at 7:30 P.M. the Troop H Division of Drug and Crime Control was requested to assist the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office with the discovery of human remains discovered by a mushroom hunter on private property in rural Daviess County.
