Holt Teens Hurt In ATV Crash Saturday

An ATV crash Saturday afternoon left a pair of Holt teens with injuries.

The Highway Patrol says a 14-year-old male was operating an ATV along a path on private property on Highway CC at 3:15 Saturday afternoon when he overcorrected and the ATV overturned.

Both the 14-year-old male driver and his 15-year-old female passenger were wearing safety devices but both were injured in the accident.

The male suffered minor injures and was treated at the scene. The female rider suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Children’s Mercy Hospital by Holt Fire for treatment.
