Hopkins Man Arrested Following Field Damage Investigation

A Hopkins man has been arrested as part of an investigation into a vehicle causing crop damage to a soybean field.

A Nodaway County deputy found a blue Pontiac Grand Prix abandoned in a farmer’s bean field causing damage to crops. A farmer discovered a person inside the vehicle that fled. Later, a male suspect was found hiding in a drainage ditch.

38 year old Chad K King of Hopkins was taken in on an active Nodaway County Warrant.
