Hunter Education Skills Class Coming to Winston

A hunter education skills class is coming to Winston.

The Missouri Department of Conservation will offer a free upcoming hunter education skills session from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 27, in Winston. 

Participants will earn the safety certificate needed to obtain hunting permits. 

The session will also teach and test participants for safe firearms handling and basic hunting skills.

The skills session will be at Winston R-VI School.
