Hunter Safety Skill Classes Coming Up In The Area

A series of hunter’s education skills classes are coming up in four different listening area cities.

A pair of classes will be held in Cameron Tuesday, September 15 at the Passion Church with one class at 4 P.M. and another at 5:30 P.M. Another pair of classes are being on Thursday, September 17 at the Princeton High School, also at 4 and 5:30 P.M.

The third set of hunter’s education classes will be held Monday, September 21st at the Barton Farm Campus of North Central Missouri College in Trenton. Again the classes will be at 4 and 5:30 P.M.

The final set of scheduled classes are set for Tuesday, October 13 at the Litton Ag Center in Chillicothe, also at 4 and 5:30 P.M.

Students must be 11 years old and need to complete the knowledge session of the course, prior to skills session, by doing the on-line portion or filling out the student manual chapter review questions. Student manuals are available at Chillicothe Department of Conservation office or from the MDC website.

For all of the scheduled classes there will be a limit of 12 participants due to COVID-19.
