I-29 Scheduled For Resurfacing

Interstate 29 in southern Buchanan County is set to be resurfaced soon.

The Missouri Department of Transportation contracted with Herzog Contracting Corp. to complete the project between Route O and the Platte County line.

The work will be conducted at night to lessen impacts to travelers.

The contractor plans to begin off-road work with guardrail and slope repairs on Monday, May 26.

I-29 could be narrowed to one lane in each direction to allow for crews to work safely on these two off-road portions of the project.

All work is weather-permitting and schedules are subject to change.
