I-35 Pavement Repairs Begin Next Week In Daviess County

A pavement repair project that was expected to begin earlier this month on Interstate 35 in Daviess County will now begin next week, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.

Mo-Dot has contracted with Interstate Improvements, Inc. for pavement repairs on the north and southbound lanes of I-35 from Route C at Exit 78 to U.S. Route 69 at Exit 68. Crews will be working to repair various sections of concrete along the interstate.

The project is set begin Monday, April 24 and should be completed by mid-June.

During construction, the roadway will be narrowed to one lane around the clock in various locations, with an 11.9-foot width restriction.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
