I-35 Pavement Repairs in Clinton County Scheduled

Pavement repairs to the stretch of Interstate 35 between Cameron and Lathrop in Clinton County are scheduled to begin next week.

Crews with Iowa Civil Contracting working with Mo-Dot will begin the pavement repairs on both direction of I-35 between Highway 116 and Shoal Creek, exits 41 to 49, beginning on Monday, March 1.

Crews plan to begin on the southern end of the project, near Lathrop, working in the northbound lanes.

The project is expected to last through mid-July and includes ramp resurfacing and guardrail improvements, which will require intermittent lane and ramp closures. One lane in each direction will remain open for the duration of the project, but a 12-foot width restriction will be in place.
