Illinois Man Arrested on Drug Warrant and New Drug Charges

An Illinois man was arrested on a drug warrant and new misdemeanor marijuana charges Tuesday in Andrew County.

Troop H of the Highway Patrol reports the arrest of 39-year-old Carbondale, Illinois resident William D. Allen at 10:50 A.M. Tuesday on a felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Allen was booked into the Andrew County Sheriff’s Department to await bond.
